MOD Realty | Chestertons wins Gold at the Best of Cayman Islands 2026 awards

MOD Realty | Chestertons, our affiliate in the Cayman Islands, has been awarded Gold in the Real Estate Company category at the Best of Cayman Islands 2026 awards, the top honour in its category.

The win marks a step up for the George Town brokerage, which took Silver in the same category in 2025. Founder and broker Athena Nicole Smith and her team collected the award at this year's presentation.

The recognition went beyond the company award, with MOD Realty agent Stephanie Foster also winning Silver in the Real Estate Agent category.

Why this award matters

The Best of Cayman Islands awards are produced by Compass Media and decided entirely by the public. Under the official rules, residents nominate businesses, vote once per category per day, and votes are counted by an independent third party. The top-voted nominee in each category receives Gold, with Silver going to the runner-up.

That public vote is what gives the award its weight. The Cayman Islands is a busy, competitive market, with more than 230 active agents working in the jurisdiction. A Gold in the company category reflects recognition from the clients and community the team serves every day.

Gold in the year MOD Realty joined Chestertons Global

MOD Realty was founded in 2019 and is based in George Town, Grand Cayman. In June 2026 it joined the Chestertons Global network, bringing its local expertise to a largely international buyer base.

Moving from Silver to Gold in its first year as part of the network is a proud moment for the whole Chestertons Global community, and a reflection of the local knowledge and client care the network was built to bring together.
