Meet the team - Lee Cashell
Introducing Lee Cashell, the Founder and CEO of Mongolian Properties - the newest addition to the Chestertons Global Network.
Born in Virginia and raised in Delaware, Lee Cashell graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science.

His career began in Hong Kong, where he gained experience as a regional and China economist. Transitioning to roles as a financial analyst and corporate financier, he specialized in the Asian markets.
Venturing into private equity, Lee became a private equity fund manager for Nomura JAFCO, overseeing investments in China, Hong Kong, and technology ventures.
In 2001, Lee founded Mongolian Properties, Mongolia's premier real estate agency. Over two decades, the agency facilitated numerous foreign investments into Mongolia's real estate market.
Living across the Asia Pacific region, including France, Japan, and China, Lee settled in Mongolia for 18 years before recently relocating to London.
Alongside Mongolian Properties, he founded Propeterra, a London-based startup specializing in global real estate market data visualization. Additionally, he serves as a venture partner with XZPartners, Mongolia's first venture capital firm, focusing on emerging tech startups in Central Asia.
Within Mongolian Properties, Lee leads the firm, spearheading initiatives within the Research and Design departments. His responsibilities include conceptualizing new property developments and interior designs, serving international clients in the capital markets division.
Innovation continued with the launch of Eatopia, a leading food and beverage initiative in Mongolia, which now boasts over 15 F&B outlets, including food trucks, coffee shops, Asian-themed restaurants, and a Ghost kitchen.
An American citizen, Mr. Lee Cashell holds a Masters of International Management from The American Graduate School of International Management (Thunderbird). He is a 15-year veteran of the Pan Asia Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization and an active member of his London wine club, 67 Pall Mall.
